The website www.implantoloski-center.si is operated by Implantološki Center d.o.o., Mlaška cesta 109, 4000 Kranj (hereinafter referred to as the Implantološki Center or as "we").
This privacy policy explains in detail how we use personal information you provide to us when using the website and when using services provided by Implantološki Center.
1. What is personal information?
Personal information is information that directly identify you as an individual, where "indirect" means in combination with other information, e.g. with your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, identification number, location information, or other identifiers.
2. What personal information do we collect?
If you are a visitor to the our web site, we only collect information about you using cookies. If you have an appointment with us, we collect other personal information which is required to book an appointment. This personal information is:
- name and surname;
- email address;
- telephone number.
3. How do we use (process) your personal information?
All personal information provided is treated confidentially and used only for the purpose for which it was provided. Implantološki Center has a very serious approach to data security. We use the appropriate level of protection and have appropriate physical, electronic and administrative measures in place to protect the information collected from unintentional or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of personal information or against unauthorized access to personal data that has been transferred, stored or otherwise processed. Our policies and procedures for protecting information are closely aligned with widely accepted international standards and are regularly reviewed and updated as necessary to meet our business needs, changes in technology and regulatory requirements. Access to your personal information is only allowed to staff, service providers who need this information for business reasons (business need-to-know), or those who need it to perform their work.
In case of personal data breach, Implantološki Center will follow all relevant data breach regulations.
In the case of an order of a billable service, we also obtain and process your address based on tax rules for the correct invoicing.
Implantološki Center binds not to sell, lend or otherwise transmit to any third party the information you provide through the website or in any other way, except as otherwise provided below and unless otherwise required by regulations.
Implantološki Center will only disclose your personal information to the third parties listed below, subject to the terms and conditions set out below and Implantološki Center will ensure that your personal information is processed, protected and transmitted in accordance with applicable regulations:
External service providers
If necessary, we will authorize other companies and individuals to perform certain works that contribute to our services. For example, we may provide personal information to contractors for hosting our database and applications, for data processing services or for sending the information you have requested, for providing support services, etc. We will only provide such information to external service providers or make it available to the extent required for a specific purpose. They will not be allowed to use this information for any other purpose. External Implantološki Center service providers are contractually obligated to respect the confidentiality of your personal information.
Business Transfers
In connection with any reorganization, status transformation, sale or any other transfer of assets (collectively, "business transfers"), we will transfer the data to a reasonable extent and as necessary for the business transfer, provided that the receiving party commits itself to respect your personal data in accordance with the applicable rules on personal data protection. We will continue to protect the confidentiality of all personal information and notify affected users before personal information becomes subject to another privacy policy.
Public authorities
We will disclose your personal information to public authorities only when required by national or European Union law. Implantološki Center will, for example respond to requests from courts, law enforcement and other national authorities, which may include the national authorities of another EU member state.
4. Legal interest
Based on a legitimate interest, we use your personal information to ensure the stable functioning of our systems and services, as well as for the purposes of implementing information security measures, meeting quality requirements for services, and detecting technical failures of systems and services.
Based on a legitimate interest, we also use your personal information for enforcement purposes, judicial and extrajudicial recovery.
5. Your rights regarding your personal information
Individuals may request access to personal data, rectification, deletion or restriction of processing of your personal data, you have the right to object to the processing and transferability of your personal data.
Right to be informed: You always have the right to be informed whether personal data are processed and, if so, access to personal data and the following information: (a) the purposes of the processing; (b) the types of personal data concerned; (c) users or categories of users to whom personal data have been or will be disclosed; (d) the estimated period of retention of personal data or, where that is not possible, the criteria to be used to determine that period; (e) where personal information is not collected by you, right to be informed about all available information regarding its source.
Right to rectify: You have the right to correct inaccurate personal information concerning you and, taking into account the purposes of the processing, the right to complete incomplete personal information.
Right of erasure: You have the right to have your personal data deleted when one of the following reasons applies:
(a) personal data are no longer needed for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed; (b) when you withdraw the consent on the basis of which the processing takes place and where no other legal basis exists for the processing; (c) where you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate reasons for processing; (d) the personal data have been processed illegally.
Right to processing restriction: You have the right to achieve that we restrict the processing of your personal information when one of the following applies:
a) when you dispute the accuracy of the data for a period that allows us to verify the accuracy of the personal data; (b) the processing is illegal and you oppose the erasure of personal data and, instead, require the restriction of their use; (c) we no longer need your personal data for processing purposes, but you need them for the enforcement or defense of legal claims; (d) if you have raised an objection to a treatment based on the legitimate interests of tImplantološki Center, until it is verified that our legitimate reasons outweigh your reasons.
When the processing of your personal data has been restricted in accordance with the preceding paragraph, such personal data, with the exception of their storage, shall be processed only with your consent, or for the enforcement or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another person or company.
We are obliged to inform you before restricting the processing of your personal data.
Right to portability of data: You have the right to receive your personal data which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and computer-readable form, and the right to forward this information to another controller when processing is based on your consent or processing is carried out by automated means. At your request, where technically feasible, personal data may be transferred directly to another controller.
Right of Objection: When we process your information on a legitimate interest for marketing purposes, you may object to such processing at any time.
Right to file a complaint with the Information Commissioner: If we do not act on your request within the legal deadline or reject your request, you have the right to file a complaint with the Information Commissioner.
6. Access to and correction of your personal information and asserting of other rights
As a user of Implantološki Center website or a customer you have the right to check whether Implantološki Center has personal information about you or has access to personal information about you. In case that we have such information we will provide them in the form of a computer-readable PDF document. You can always request incorrect personal information about you to be corrected. Unless you believe that there is no longer a justifiable reason for continued use of your personal information, please let us know, but certain personal information that we collect under the Value Added Tax Act may not be deleted. You also have the right to restrict the use of your personal data in cases where you dispute the accuracy of personal data, when you judge that the processing is illegal but do not want to delete the information and when the personal data are no longer needed for the purpose of processing but you need them to enforce legal claims.
If you wish to assert your described rights, please send us your request in writing, via email to info@i-c.si. Your request will be answered within 1 month by the person responsible. In the case of complexity and multiple requests, we may extend the deadline by up to two additional months, about which you will be notified.
7. Storage
Implantološki Center shall keep records of the services provided for one month after the completion of the service. After that time, we delete them, unless otherwise stated by law. On the basis of tax regulations, for example, Implantološki Center is obliged to keep accounts in which the personal data of its customer are kept for 10 years after the service was provided.
Implantološki Center also will not delete the information it needs to provide evidence that it has deleted the person's information (the so-called audit trail) and to keep records of persons who do not wish to be contacted by Implantološki Center in the future. This information is your email address and first and last name.
8. Cookies
Implantološki Center uses “cookies” on the site - these are small files that are stored on your computer when you visit the site. Cookies can make it easier for you to continue to visit the site. The settings in your browser allow you to decide whether to accept or reject cookies.
If you do not accept “”cookies”, some web pages may not be displayed correctly or you may not be able to access all information or functionality of the web pages, but acceptance of cookies is not a condition for using Implantoški Centers web site.

9. Change of privacy rules
Implantološki Center reserves the right to change its privacy policy at any time and to update and amend this Privacy Policy. Therefore, we encourage you to review this privacy policy on a regular basis. Implantološki Center will notify you about the changes to this Privacy Policy by email only if there are material changes that affect the processing of personal information.
