BOTOX application is the most popular and common intervention in the world of aesthetics. The substance is injected with a thin needle into certain facial mimic muscles in order to relax them. In this way, the skin of the face becomes tighter, resulting in a restful and youthful appearance.

It acts as a prevention against the formation of deep wrinkles that would otherwise form on the face as a result of frowning and general aging of the skin.

Areas of the face that can be treated with Botox:

• forehead wrinkles smoothing
• raising of the eyebrows when outer corners of the eyelid sag
• lowering of the upper lip in a non-aesthetic smile when too much gum is seen (gummy smile)
• correction of deep wrinkles between eyebrows resulting from frowning
• laughing wrinkles at the outer corner of the eye
• relaxation of the overactive chewing muscle
• release of platysma muscle on the neck
• reduction of vertical wrinkles around the lips (smoking wrinkles)

In addition to all these areas, Botox also affects the glands with exocrine secretion and can therefore be used in the underarm or palm against excessive sweating.

Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are used to compensate for the loss of volume in the facial area due to aging of the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a body's own substance that binds water and improves skin hydration while also promoting collagen synthesis, which is essential for skin volume and elasticity.

The filler is applied to the subcutaneous area where it gradually decomposes. In average the filler dissolves within 1 year; the duration of the effect depends mainly on the type of filler and the metabolic rate in the facial areas.

Fillers are most commonly used for:

• Lip augmentation, asymmetry repair, or merely for hydration purposes
• Boosting cheek volume
• Correction of eye bags
• Highlighting weak beard and jaw line
• Nose remodeling
• Filling in wrinkles

Bioremodellers and PDO Threads
If we want to improve skin elasticity and firmness without adding volume, we use special fillers (Profhilo), which also promote the formation of our own collagen in the skin. ProfhiloX is an excellent bio-remodeler and has been selected as the best product by the European aesthetic industry.

One of the most innovative non-surgical procedures for face lifting are PDO threads (polydioxanone threads). This is a minimally invasive procedure in which surgical threads are inserted into the subcutaneous area with thin needles. These threads cause micro-injuries in the subcutaneous tissue, thereby stimulating body’s own cells to produce collagen, which results in tighter skin.

After six months, the filaments are completely resorbed, leaving behind the newly formed collagen. At that time the effect is maximal and lasts up to three years.

Double chin fat dissolving - lipolysis
Double chin fat can be eliminated by injecting deoxycholic acid; it is an enzyme that permanently breaks down fat cells. These are then gradually eliminated from the body, leaving the skin on the neck taut. Typically, three treatments are required at 2 month intervals; swelling and transient numbness of the area is expected after the procedure.

Microneedling
A mesotherapy procedure in which skin is pierced with tiny, sterile needles with great frequency. Micro-damage stimulates the skin to regenerate itself by producing new collagen. In addition, the pierced skin barrier allows us to apply the desired rejuvenating substances deeper into the skin than solely by the surface application of serums or other active ingredients. After microneedling, face and neck skin is tighter, pores are smaller, acne scars are reduced, and the structure and texture of the skin are noticeably improved. Combining microneedling with the use of active ingredients such as peptides, hyaluronic acid or botox is ideal.
